This brush extension is the brush holder for the carbon fiber brush or double brush adapter. After the brush has been installed, the insulating sleeve is pushed over the brush extension to bundle the brush bristles and inserted into the WELDBrush handle. When changing the brush, we recommend applying a small amount of copper paste to the brush thread to prevent oxidation. This also prevents the electrolyte from running into the brush thread and the brushes from getting stuck in the brush extension during oxidation.
